We did the same thing on Tuesday. Took 1 lb ground beef, to neighbor's, she did mushrooms and onions, swiss cheese, cooked on the grill.... lettuce and tomato, ketchup... pot salad, deviled eggs from my chickens' eggs...
M...MM... GOOD.... Home grown is it......

Neighbor Chase came over this morning and helped me. I’ll finish up this side in the morning and have it ready to go for Saturday. Picking up metal tomorrow afternoon!

Installing heat shield was smart. It should help the temperature inside a lot. I mean it ain't like you don't live in Texas . With metal roof just be prepared you may not get good wireless signal inside but by windows. But then maybe you will? Think of the benefits though... If the power goes out you may be able to take a fry pan up to the roof and fry an egg

This appears to be an Assassin bug there are like 700 different kinds. It's a friend to fruit trees, not friendly at all to other bugs. Just leave it be and don’t touch, they can pack quite a punch! Most definitely this Assassin bug is cleaning up what ever bug(s) was eating the leafs.

Edit more info... Absolutely fascinating critters to me. It's appears mine is a nymph (juvenile) yet you can see in my photo it's pretty doggone big
