got the corn and green beans pulled up and some onions, pulled the wagon to the porch,, talked to DD#4 on the phone,,, it started raining, ,, raked up the garden bed , pulled up the fence posts that healed up the pea and green bean trellis up, raked some more----and it and noticed I didnt have my glasses?????????
hauled it all the vegetation down to the compost looked all through it, no glasses.
I have gone over everything and every step- looked even in the fridge and trash----DH looked, they are here somewhere, but I cant find them

I will find them some day

Beautiful garden that produces beautifully. Lot of work goes into a beautiful garden like that. I never was much on plotting like yours. I just like to sow em in long straight rows, like row crops.

Still eating juicy pears. I will miss them when they are gone. but have pear sauce for over winter. I'm thinking pear cider, I need to build a press soon.

Lord willing, I should have apples producing next year. Probably not enough for cider, but every season will produce more. plus I'll plant my grafted apple cider production row in October. So I probably should just go ahead and build a press this winter anyways. Been thinking a little about it and think I'll build it out of sycamore. sycamore is a non-toxic food safe wood so it should work well. but need to study more before deciding.

When you talked to DD and it started to rain, where were you? Might have taken them off while talking and then didn't put them on when it started raining????

I was in the garden, then moved to the front porch,, then went back to the garden,,,

I plowed the garden bed,,, no I didnt find my glasses, I didnt bury them like I thought,, I went and relooked through the corn stalks,, nope,,
I looked in amongst the tomato plants,,,
will, I got my shower and mam eating a big salad,,, I am so glad I have my older glasses,,
its funny,, I made an eye appointment yesterday when I was at costco,, I havent had a check up in 3 years, I glad i made one

up at 4:30,
I am going to dehydrate the basil today , pick the ripe tomatoes, and I have some red cabbage I am going to be making spiced red cabbage and can it.
Laundry and house work.
accuweather says we are having another hot spell,

I have a hard time keeping up with my glasses at work -- yep, take the off and need to to find them! but, I cannot read the tiny print on those shelf strips with them on! And our paperwork needs a magnifying glass! Finally I bought the leash things so the can hang on me. . Now I can't find that

Having morning coffee. Pondering your dilemma with a knowing smile. . They'll show up eventually.

Yes, shelf tags, when I was a Grocery Store Manager,, I had! to have the glasses chain,, I felt it looked stupid but I couldnt run all over the store looking for them,,,

Doggo this morning giving the biker kid the what for. Not an angry defense bark, more of a hey dude whats up bark.

Truck was driven by this tiny little old lady wearing a straw hay.
