And for heaven's sake, don't post generic pictures from the internet.
LOL I only use my own photos.

As for putting the pic first, the template doesn't let you choose.

I think Marans egg sellers are some of the worst for it, they'll post a pic on their advertisement that you've seen countless times on the internet. And even then, it's not a big deal to me as long as you state that it is only an example and not your picture.

But you see people selling eggs for hatching and instead of taking a picture of the birds they have, they'll post one of the most seen pictures on the internet. A pet peeve of mine. For example and exotic animal rescue recently popped up and although they have excellent review, their website's pictures are all pictures of the animals in their natural environment. I emailed them and critiqued for them and although the rescue owner agreed with me, the website designer simply put a disclaimer.

I love your ad though and I think it is very well done.

Love the ad - but it is a bit wordy. :hide

I think the suggestion of keeping hatching eggs and eating eggs seperate will reduce the size and make it easier to read.

Free Range raised in natural conditions also might be better word choices for most consumers. You know how folks are.

As for me personally. I would definitely buy your eggs.

Run it for a while this way - because its good. Then change it up and reduce some of the info next ad. Swapping them out will place an ad that appeals to different folks.

Just letting you know what the ad has resulted in...

1 order for 18 hatching eggs for next week

an order for 2 dozen hatching eggs the week after

and someone who wants hatching eggs when she gets back from vacation in a couple of weeks.

So nobody wanted eating eggs and everyone has hatching fever. ALL for the ducks! LOL

Of course this is craigslist, so no telling who will flake out.... :gig

Funny how the thing that is selling isn't the main focus of the ad, but this stuff happens all the time.

I have gotten some more inquiries, this time about ducklings. I decided the easiest thing to do is to put up a blog (since it is FREE!) and just direct people there for updates.

Anyone want to be my first follower?

I figure the photos will draw people in and they are easy to post.

I need better ones of Shelley and Lexus, but those two are so nosy it is almost impossible to shoot pics of them! I usually end up with shots like this...

She is such a turd!
