OMG, you all had me laughing so hard. Dacjohns, if I have offended you and hurt your feelings in the past, I am sorry. I may not be the best typist here but I do pride myself on my spelling abilities. Not my english mind you, just knowing how to spell. But my fingers....well what can I say. Anyway I am sorry. I am lazy, just lazy.
You haven't offended me, in fact, I think it was the opposite.
Androgynous

I just get frustrated sometimes when people don't even try. Communication is a two way street. When someone spells throw as through then they are failing to communicate because the receiver perceives something different. If you are going to talk about chickens on a chicken forum at least get the anatomy correct.

I read through posts quickly to see if I am interested and want to read more. When I don't understand with the quick scan then I tend to skip the post. After a while I tend to ignore certain members' posts because I "know" their post will be hard to read.

If someone attacks me then my feelings might get hurt or I might get offended. If your spelling and grammar are atrocious then I just get peeved. Sometimes I can ignore it but other times it just gets to me, especially when there are a lot of errors.

Umm I actually understand, I mean....I really understand. I glanced at the post you referred to and after reading the first two paragraphs, thought.....3 pages for this?? Anyway, glad I have not offended thee, LOL.

I didn't see the post as man bashing.
I saw it as her not liking her husband....LOL.

But yes, women do trash men....what else do we have to do? Remember we are fab at multi-tasking..HA HA HA

I'm a little on the sensitive side with that topic. I have worked as a male in a predominately female environment and male bashing was quite common. The OP may not have been male bashing but I feel those threads quickly escalate to male bashing and as a male it seemed to me it did. I cannot see a thread where men complained about the opposite sex, maybe there were some and I just missed them.

On to better things now.

Illinois is shotgun and muzzle loader for gun deer season. I haven't hunted the last few years since I have been out of state. Checked on my ammo and saw that I only had 5 rounds. That is enough to make sure my gun is zeroed and then not miss any deer I shoot at. I bought some more ammo, it was $20 for 5 rounds. What are they making it out of? Gold? This is some new (to me)stuff. Remington Premier Core-Lokt Ultra. 385 grain hollow point magnum bonded sabot slug. Muzzle velocity of 1900 FPS. Sight in at 150 yards. 2013 foot pounds of energy at 150 yards.

For comparison my old ammo is Remington Premier Copper Solid, 1 ounce hollow point magnum sabot slug. Sounds almost the same. The difference is huge though. Muzzle velocity of 1450 FPS, sight in at 50 yards, 1689 foot pounds of energy at 50 yards.

The new stuff shoots farther, faster, and hits harder. I missed a shot at about 75 yards a few years ago because of bullet drop. This time if I get the same shot it should be right on.

Deer season starts Friday.
