I did great until I got to the top section, couldn't get the pieces to fit right and was about to get aggravated and doc came out and saved the day. It was such a simple "fix", too.
Finally got a pic of our part-time cat, Strut (named for the Stray Cats' Stray Cat Strut):
It's been hard getting a pic of him since he's either got his face in the food bowl or he's got himself wrapped around my ankles.
Nope, you didn't miss it, exactly...I've been "celebrating" since April 1st since I'm an "April Fool" and will continue until I get tired of aggravating my family with the foolishness or they have me committed!
Hope you and J get things straightened out with the order.
Will be carrying on with my niece later today so I'm still celebrating.
We (mom, sis and I) started teasing her last May that I was going to show up for her Sweet Sixteen party in a psychedelic/funky many colored plastic outfit. The wierdest I got was my peace sign socks. She's in chorus at school and they're doing a concert so mom's coming to get me for it and she and sis told me (in front of my niece) to make sure I wore my "special" outfit. I'm kinda suprised I haven't gotten a straight jacket for Christmas or my birthday from Minnie Me (niece).
Dawn, I think if you and I ever met up in RL, we'd get along so great that people would be ready to admit BOTH of us. Together now,
They're coming to take us away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take us away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and we'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take us away, ha-haaa!!!!!
The concert was really nice...it was held in honor of our veterans and active military. It's a small choir, 14 kids but they sounded like more, in a good way. Allie corrected me that it's choir NOT chorus! So I had fun with her, got into my best old voice and said "Well, back in the old days, when I was in school, before dirt was even created...we called it chorus young whipper snapper!" She got a good laugh from that one.
One of Al's solos:
Minnie Me and me:
We went to the Dollar Store and WalMart before they dropped me off at home and we managed to spend almost 3 hours entertaining ourselves in the Mart. We were glad dad opted to stay home as he would have given Allie non-stop heck about her hair color of choice but like I told Mom, the girl could be doing a lot worse things. The funny thing was the girl that was to the left of her (during the concert) had her hair dyed half light pink and half dark purple.
Well, I need to get my rear in gear as we're going running with Mom tomorrow and nothing will get done here.
