The guy called me about the stock tank. And, he's willing to hold it until next Tuesday! He's only a few blocks away from my chiropractor, and that's when I go next!

In other news, we just had a nasty storm go thru, heavy rain, some wind and hail. We have no power. Good thing we have a generator!

The one problem w/a generator during a power outage? You can't tell when the electric comes back on. The only way I knew it was back on when I got up this morning was by looking out my window at the neighbors. They had lights. And, since they don't have generators, it was a pretty safe bet that the power was back on. I'm glad. Our generator isn't quite powerful enough for the well. Hubby got a shower last night, but I didn't. And, I so wanted one. Now I'll have to get one B4 I leave for work.

Today looks like it's going to be a busy day. RU is away. KN doesn't know if she'll be out to the farm until real late. And, I don't know about PT. So, I just might have to feed everybody on the farm. Plus, I'm supposed to go and pick up a horse for someone. Right now, it's cool out, but it's supposed to get hot again. So, I'll probably be wiped out by the time I get home.

I want to mow my field, but can't. I have a flat on the mower. Hubby was supposed to look at it yesterday, but he forgot. Hope he looks at it today. If not, I'm going to have to get a new tire. I have to get that mowed.

I hope so. I moved the horse, took me longer than I was expecting. This is a horse that was going to a new home. I was expecting to pick up the horse, take it to its new home, get my gas money and leave. I called when I got to the farm to let the woman know that I'd be leaving soon. I got to her house and found she wasn't expecting me quite yet! So, she had just given the horse some grain. So, I had to wait until it was done eating B4 I could leave! :barnie

Finally get the horse loaded. The woman who was giving the horse away decides to follow me to the horse's new home. She had been there once, and was expecting me to go the same way. I went a different way (helps to know the roads around here-the horse is only a few miles from me.) She likes my way better. We get there. I was expecting to unload the horse, get my gas money and leave. Didn't happen. I was there for at least an hour B4 I got my money. Then I had to go back to the farm, pick my field, clean my stalls, bag feed, and feed RU's horses and collect trash. I got everything done, it just took longer than I wanted it to.

So, now I'm home relaxing. And, I"m so looking forwad to the end of the month. Just 23 days left to work! :weee

He's wanted me to quit for some time now, so he was happy to hear it.

You work so HARD, why would he have wanted you to quit? Can't afford help anymore?

I don't get ANY help around here, and he's complaining about how messy the house is. But, I'll have the kitchen all cleaned up, for instance, and he'll go make something and NOT clean up after himself. :somad I have tried for years to get this house clean, but there's too much junk in it. I have taken truckloads out of here, but he constantly gets more stuff. :rant
