FWIW, Torn meniscus is one of the problems that surgery generally helps assuming they didn't have to completely open that knee.
Follow their instructions, and you will get better. We understand your frustration about "being grounded" but this too, shall pass!
Hang in there girl...we're all pullin' for ya!
Trim sends,

I've been following the instructions to the letter. Last night, we took off the dressing as per instructions. I have 2 small incisions on the knee, which are now covered w/bandages.

I'm up for a bit w/my hubby-he's getting ready to leave for work, so I'm sitting in a chair w/my leg up and an ice bag on it. I taught my daughter how to iron a shirt, and hope to get more of it done today, as well as folding up a ton of laundry. I'm hoping to also teach her how to make bread in the bread machine. She'll take care of the animals for me today. I'm wondering if I were to give her some money for gas if I can get her to go out to the farm and at least check on the cats, make sure the litter box is clean and they've been given some food. As much as I'd like to go out to the farm, I'm not going to yet. It would be too tempting.

My leg is starting to feel much better. Other than having some sore spots from using the crutches, I'm moving pretty good. I was able to get up and finish my soup as well as make a loaf of bread, but I need new yeast. It didn't rise at all!

I know KN didn't get to the farm today, so that meant PT fed. I hope everything went well. RU called to see how I was doing, and she's going to check on the cats for me, make sure the litter box is clean.

Today is rainy, but I think tomorrow is supposed to be nicer. I just might try to at least get outside tomorrow. I'm tired of being inside. The only thing I have to worry about is, can I get my boots on?

Wow I'm glad your feeling and getting around a little better. I know it is so irritating to have so much you want to do but can't!

So glad you're feeling better. Crutches are a real pain! :barnie You'll be up and at it again in no time!
Yeah, in more ways than one! I should be in bed, but why bother? It's not like I have to get up in the morning for anything. So, I'm watching American Pickers on THC. It's kind of interesting to see some of the stuff these people find. Some of it, I'd like to have.

Pawn Stars also has some neat stuff come in at times. They had a corn shucker on there I would have LOVED to have had.

"So what would you want for something like this?" You're not asking about something like this. It is this! Drives me a little crazy but I like the show better than most that DH watches. He watches the gold guys in Alaska and the log guys and the pawn shows...
