I love Pickers, btu the skinny guy gets on my nerves sometimes with his ego issues :p
"So what would you want for something like this?" You're not asking about something like this. It is this! Drives me a little crazy but I like the show better than most that DH watches. He watches the gold guys in Alaska and the log guys and the pawn shows...
I can't stand the gold shows nor the logger guys. Swamp People can be interesting, but other shows I think are just nuts!

OMG, I love Pawn Stars, some of the stuff that comes through there is just amazing!!! And they are funny to boot :p
Pickers is pretty interesting too. It makes me laugh to see how tickled the guys can get over simple things that they find. Apparently the father of one of the girls I went to highschool with was on the new episode... We tivo'd it so I can watch it tonight :p
And we have the new Pawn Stars for tonight, too!

Oh, edit to add... FEEL BETTER SOON!! LOL. I had to have pretty major knee surgery 2 years ago now, and it was nuts. That was also the winter we got the epic triple winter storms, it was oh so much fun helping to clear snow and clean stalls with a knee brace on when you shouldn't really have been doing that :p I feel your pain!! Take care of it and you'll be better before you know it!

I almost lost it when they had the corn shucker on. I can understand why they didn't take it but if I was in that area, and knew they had it for a good price, I would have jumped on it! I don't need it yet, but will one day.

As it is, I've been looking at all different types of categories on CL. Normally, I was just looking on the farm and garden section. Today, I went on antiques and wished I had an extra $200. Someone is selling an old fashioned washing machine, one you don't need electricity for. But, I don't have the money, nor any place to put it. :(

For the first time since Friday, I managed to get outside. And yes, I did behave myself. Even though I could have probably limped around w/out crutches, I did use them. I walked to the end of the street (not hard to do since it ends at the woods next to my house), and looked into the woods. Then, I walked to the mailbox and looked to see if there were any good circulars or catalogs in it. Nothing good, just normal mail so I left it for my hubby. Then, I went back to the goats. Gidget came up, Sugar didn't. After all, I didn't have any food. But this was the first time for several days I actually got to touch one of my animals! :weee From there, I went to the rabbit cage. Neither was out, so I opened the lid to the box. They were both in there. I didn't try to pet them because I couldn't get close enough. Then, I came back inside.

I feel much calmer now. Last night, I had had horrible dreams. I dreamt Stormy had a bloody hoof because he wasn't getting treated. Then I went in my tack shed and found the litter box was gone. Instead, there was one of my good bath towels down and it was soaked w/cat pee and full of poop. The litter box was empty, and thrown to the side. At that point in time, I woke up. Since then, I've talked to KN. The litter box is now clean. A new RB was being put out, which is good since someone fed them part of my straw. :barnie As far as I know, the chickens are being fed, but the cats aren't getting their canned food.

I only have 1 more day until I get out to bag feed. I'll be able to check on my animals and finally be sure that they're all OK.

Hurray for a walk! After my surgery my mom used to walk with me down to the barn, we would go up and down the barn aisle (22 stall barn) and that was about as much as I could muster. But then I wasn't allowed to put weight on my leg for more than 4 weeks.
SO glad you got outside. I might have to find an excuse to go outside some time later, I hear it is nice out there today, and I have a raging headache.

It's beautiful out. I don't even have a fire going. Hubby wasn't up to doing it last night, nor this morning and my DD doesn't know how. I think they MIGHT be starting to appreciate me. Dishes are starting to pile up, laundry isn't getting done, firewood isn't getting done, etc.

I just went out on my crutches and fed the goats! The rabbits had feed, but their water was low, so I gave them more water. I'm surprised at how tired just doing that little bit made me feel, so I'm going to go take a nap soon. But, if felt sooooo good to do it.

Gosh, I can SOOOOOO relate!! It is exhausting, but soooo satisfying!
You'll probably be too tired to do it again tomorrow, but that's alright too!
Take care of yourself, and I'll say don't over do it, even though I know you probably will :p
