She is gorgeous. I know a dog that reminds me of your picture of Patches, she is a great dog.

You must be pretty slender if you weigh 25 pounds less than that! I got a jolt when I saw your photo, I had your face pictured exactly right and I don't know how.
Last pair of jeans I bought were a size 4!

I guess I'm going to have to figure out how to work my new camera so I can take some new pics not only of Misty, but also of all the rest of my animals. It's funny, I'm on a few different forums, and haven't really felt the urge to add any photos. Some of them I've been on for years. But I want to put them on here.

I thought she looked Arab. My sisters boy is out of a reg Quarter Horse mare and an unknown father. The people she bought the mare from sold her because of the accidental pregnancy. She was an awesome mare. When it came time to foal she sat up looked at the foal and dropped dead. :( Indy is quite a spoiled boy since he was an orphan.

It's okay...it's just like opening a present every time you finally get to see what someone looks like .... I'm sure I don't look like what people think I would look like. :p

Well I stepped on the dog scale today and saw that I have gained 15 pounds!
I gave up aspartane, you know, artificial sweetener, because it is supposed to contribute to vertigo. I do think I've been better.

But Holy cow! I have to start drinking plain water! 15 pounds is a lot on a short person! And I've only stopped aspartane for two months.

Just realized, I never finished w/my story of Cindy.

I was about ready to leave the farm, but was thinking of stopping back later in the evening (I had a Christmas party to go to that was just a few miles from the farm.) when I suddenly remember that I had gone into RU's tack shed. It's bigger than mine, and I had put a 50 lb bag of feed into it a couple of weeks ago. I normally get 2 bags at a time to put in the cans in my shed, but since my hubby was supposed to come out and work on mine, I had stuck the one bag in her shed. (It's hard to move those cans when they're almost full.) Since I don't know when he's coming, I had decided to get the bag, and put it in the can. I opened the door, and there was Cindy! She was quite happy to see me, and quite happy to get out of there! I could have sworn she was in my tack shed when I left Friday night, but apparently not.

Winter has come early here, and it's about 10, 15 degrees colder than normal for this time of year. I've seen a few flurries. I didn't have time on Saturday to work in my garden, and rested on Sunday. Monday I did a bit more, but not as much as I would have liked to. I was frozen by the time I got home, and just wanted to relax in the house. I'm about 1/2 done my asparagus patch. I'll be working in it more today. If I can finish it, then the rest is much easier. I have GOT to get it all done by Saturday. They're talking even colder temps next week. Right now, the ground isn't frozen, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last. Once I get it all cleaned out, I can bring home manure from the farm, then cover the whole thing w/all the leaves in my yard. I'm going to cover a section w/black plastic, been wanting to do that for a few years now to see if it really does make a difference.

Other than that, I've just been doing wood, laundry and dishes. Once I get the garden done, I'll be able to do more housework.

Glad that you found her! :D

We had a cat get trapped inside of a neighbor's out building for several days one time. I thought she was dead. Then one especially calm afternoon I heard a tiny meow. When I searched I saw her in the window of their shed - screaming for all she was worth! She was happy to see me as well!
