Thanks. I don't have my leg quite in the right position, but I can't get it quite where it belongs for now. That will come.

Who cares!?!?! You're back in the saddle and that's ALL that matters at THIS point :D

Yep, but I'm looking at the pic and seeing things that are wrong, like my leg, my hands are a bit high... Eventually, I want to get a video cam and tape myself so I can watch them and see what I need to improve.

Yeah, that's where she is. She was w/the rest until I went to take a pic. Maybe I should post one of the others that show her.

I am. I was so nervous B4 I ever got on her. I thought I was going to be sick! And, the doctor had recommended that I ride a different horse first since she can be high spirited. But, I HAD to ride her. I did have KN hold her while I mounted, then lead her around for a bit and hold her when I got off. I won't have time to ride tomorrow-my hay guy had to work today, so I'm getting my hay tomorrow instead-but I hope to get on her on Monday. The one thing I will do different is get off on the "wrong" side. My bad leg is next to her when I dismount, and it's a bit rough getting down. But, when I first saddle trained her, I trained her to stand for mounting, unmounting and tacking up from both sides, so I think she'll be fine. And, it was good I didn't ride the calmer horse. She's taller than Misty, and I had a little bit of trouble when I dismounted. I kind of slid down her side. Of course, if Licky was a bit calmer, I could ride her. She's even shorter!

Deb, you are too hard on yourself! You look great to me!! :clap
It's not just for my sake. If you're not sitting properly in the saddle, it can be hard on the horse's back. But, it will come. I'm not sure when the last time I was even on her back, so it was good just to get on. And, I didn't ride for long. I didn't want to overdo it.
