So neat being able to put 'faces' to the things you talk about! Ah, horses, wish I had one! Love to ride, but hubby says absolutely not :(

I think your tack shed is neat too - not at all what I had pictured in my head (guess that was past experience bias at work!). What a great escape place!

I'll be posting more pics as I get stuff done.

And, since a picture is worth a 1000 words, I figured this would be the best explanation.

Deb, you are too hard on yourself! You look great to me!! :clap
It's not just for my sake. If you're not sitting properly in the saddle, it can be hard on the horse's back. But, it will come. I'm not sure when the last time I was even on her back, so it was good just to get on. And, I didn't ride for long. I didn't want to overdo it.
Well, I didn't know that! Then never mind! You're not too hard on yourself! Really? I had no idea you could injure a horse by sitting wrong in the saddle!

Yep, you'll see people that look like they're sitting on a chair when they ride. That puts them at the back part of the horse's back. If someone sits on your back right at the waist and bounces up and down, it can hurt your back. It's the same w/horses.

OK, lecture's done.

Great pix, Deb, thanks for sharing! :hugs

Glad you're able to ride again. I haven't ridden in about 20 years and miss it! Guess you'll just have to do some ridin' for me? :D

I used to love to ride too when I was a kid, but haven't even been on a horse since Daddy died :/ Its just not the same. I won't keep a horse either, they're too expensive!

Can't wait for more pics!!!! :D
OK. Here's the inside of my tack shed. The first pic is to the right, and is my cot and "kitchen". The other is to the left and is my feed cans, drawers w/grooming supplies and tack. The orange vest is something I'll wear during hunting season just in case someone can't tell the difference between a horse and rider and a deer.
