I'll be so glad when I don't have to do wood everyday. I got another load in, and got enough of it cut up to last until at least Saturday. The stuff that's wet feeling is covered w/the tarp. The stuff that's pretty dry is in the wood shed-but not cut up. And, it was a bit rough getting the wood today. I found a really good spot. But, I had to carry the generator farther than I realized. I started at one spot, then moved the generator a couple of times, and didn't realize how far I had to carry it back-until I had to do it. Plus, there was an awful lot of cat brier in that area, so I have all these little puncture wounds on my legs. I'm going to have to see if there's a shorter way to this spot and I'm probably going to have to chop down the cat brier.
Tomorrow, they're calling for rain, so I'm hoping to get a lot of house work done. But, the house really needs it, I just don't feel like doing it!
Well, the forecast was right. It's raining. So, I'll be going out and feeding the horses. I stuffed hay nets w/hay yesterday, so I'll be hanging them up for the horses so they don't have to come out if they don't want to. And, I may get those nails cut in Stormy's stall. Then, I'll be chilling in my tack shed until I can give Stormy his 2nd feeding, then leaving. I have some food shopping to do, so I'll head straight to the food store then home. I'll get as much done here as I can.
We might get a couple of inches. So far, all we've gotten is wind and rain. But, w/the barometric pressure down, it's putting pressure on my ears, so I'm dizzy.
