Morning early birds! Hope you both have a great day! Quiet here so far at work but I'll hop to it in a minute and get the coffee on.

Don't worry, I'm making it in the kitchen and all of the sleeping areas are separated by a fire door. I'm sure you won't smell it!

Good! I think I'm going to go back to sleep for a bit now, then get up, and recover my hay shelter b4 I get ready for church.

I got home from church yesterday, and found that my hubby had cleaned up about half the living room! Our son had had a large pile of clothes in the one corner. He had picked up most of them on Saturday-including all the socks he kept on complaining that he couldn't find as well as a bunch of jeans he couldn't find, and probably a bunch of t-shirts he couldn't find. And, as much as I'd like to believe he did this to make my life easier, I know he didn't.

For Christmas, my son gave us (his father) a large screen TV. The only place that it fit was on the coffee table. Only problem w/that is, the coffee table belongs to my son-and he wanted it. So, my hubby needed to find a different place to put it. He thought about putting it on top of my piano, but changed his mind. It would have been too high up. (I have an upright.) But, behind all the clothes that my son had, there was a dropped leaf table. So, he put that in the corner, and put the TV on top of it. I don't really want the TV there, but I don't know that there's any place else he can put it. Some days, I feel like I have no part in this house. Yesterday, the minister preached on money, and really trusting God w/your finances. One thing that has kept me w/my hubby all these years is fear of how to support myself. Now I see that I'm not trusting God. If I have to leave, I'll do so, and trust God to provide my needs. After all, He's promised to do so.

And, today, he worked some on my truck! :th Now, he's cooking dinner. OK, I could do w/out him cooking dinner. He's also had too much to drink, and while he's not reached the stage of being verbally abusive, he has reached the stage where if I don't rave over what he made, he'll get offended. I had planned on having steak, a salad and a baked potato for lunch. Guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow?

That cracks me up, my hubby likes for me to rave when he cooks too....even when he is "experimenting".....I've learned to rave quite convincingly because I hate doing all the cooking!

I'm to the point where if he wants to cook for himself, fine. But, don't always expect me to eat it. At times, I think we need to live in a duplex. Then, I wouldn't have to worry about doing his cooking, cleaning and laundry and he wouldn't have any animals in his house. To me, it sounds like a win-win situation.
