Nope, I ride a Buell Blast. As for the gloves, if I get ladies gloves that fit thru the hand, the fingers are too large. And a men's medium is good for finger length, but too wide in the hands. I'm hoping to look for a pair of snowmobile gloves tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky and find something that fits on clearance.
Ah well. It was worth a shot. Good luck.

If he would just take out all of his junk, it would go a long way towards cleaning the house! As it is, next week, I'm going to start cleaning in earnest. And, if I have to, I guess I could always take his junk over to his house and leave it on his porch. :D

Maybe you can use the vacated space to make a nice sitting area space for YOURSELF!

Yesterday was a fairly nice day, highs in the lower 70s, cloudy in the morning, then sun and some wind, but not too bad. However, over night we had a cold front blow in. I woke up this morning to a horribly windy day! And, because of the problems that I'm having w/my truck, today I was driving my hubby's Durango. I don't drive it that often, so I felt funny driving it. It's lighter than my truck, so every time the wind gusted, I really felt like I was being blown off the road. I would have loved to have stayed home today, but I couldn't. KN had found a place where they were willing to teach us how to process chickens. So I picked her up at her house, and we drove about an hour away. The only thing I did not get to do was actually cut the neck, but I'm sure I can do that. So, the next warmish day that we have, I'll be doing my boys! I can hardly wait! :ya

Once we were done, I dropped her off, then went to the farm to give Stormy his 2nd feeding. I also had to drop off 2 bags of horse feed. Stormy is not getting along too well w/this new horse. In fact, they went for each other across a fence. I'm going to start splitting the herd for a few hours everyday so they have a chance to be apart. Plus, it will make it easier once they're split permanently. Hopefully, they won't be constantly trying to get back together.

B4 I left the farm this morning, I checked my chickens. Both of my hens acted like they were laying, Angel where they've been laying, and Penny in their house. But, as soon as I walked in to check their feed, Angel came out. I checked, no egg. Penny stayed in where she was. Even when I went in to get some feed, she didn't move. When I got back, there was a 3rd egg. So, I'm really hoping she's going to get broody on me. If so, I'll try to have a hen sitting every couple of months. Next year, if all goes well, I'll be able to raise more-I hope.

When I got home, I went right out to feed the goats. That's when I found out how bad the wind was today. My hay shelter is covered w/a tarp. The wind was so bad, the tarp is almost completely off. I didn't even attempt to try and put it on, it's just too windy. (Gust are up to 50 mph!) So, I'll be doing that first thing tomorrow. Plus, we had a fairly large branch from a dead sassafras come down. My hubby keeps saying we need to cut it down, now it's going to happen. W/were the tree is, it could have landed on one of the goats.

Tomorrow isn't supposed to be as windy, so if it's not too cold, I'll be riding my motorcycle out to the farm in the afternoon. That will save me some gas.

Not his porch! There are three vehicles that he so kindly left for you to fill up for him!

But, no keys, so it would be kind of hard to put the stuff in there. And, he did start to take some stuff today. Good thing is, he's sorting it over at his house! So, if he doesn't want it, it ain't coming back here. He can take it to SA, or Good Will or something.

I was so ready for my daughter and her junk to move out and then about a year later I missed her terribly for about four or five years. I finally got used to her being gone, but it is a weird feeling having your child become a "real" adult.

I've never dressed a chicken, but I sure could of gone out there this morning and "DONE" one of my boys! We slept with the windows open and it seemed like they crowed ALL night! Those roos will be the first to go.
