Your guys aren't shedding yet?! Omg it's coming off here like crazy! It's not fair That they are shedding so bad and its still so cold.
The last time I looked at the forecast we have a low chance of showers on Sunday and then Monday is 6-8" of snow. Crazy! I guess we'll see.

We still don't know what we're getting. It seems like every forecast I look at is different.

They've changed Monday's forecast from an icy mix to 6-10" of snow. Then, it's supposed to drop down close to 0 overnight! I'll be so glad when winter is done. I may be leaving for the farm super early on Monday so I can get done early. And they've also changed the forecast for tomorrow. It's supposed to start raining in the afternoon instead of later. So that means my schedule is changed for today. My plan for today:

1. Go on a bird walk
2. Work on wood. I'll get the wood holder in the basement filled and get the rest stacked-I hope
3. Make bread
4. Make some goodies, like chocolate chip banana bread and peach cobbler
5. Feed Stormy, put out hay, take care of chickens
6. Clean field
7. Make and eat dinner
8. Dishes

Hubby and I might go and get another load of wood. It's going to depend. W/the snow and the temps they're calling for next week, I'm not sure when I'll be able to get another load.

It was colder for this bird walk than it was last month. Hubby couldn't understand why I was going, but I needed that walk. We saw some good birds, including the eagle. I'm sitting down for a few B4 I go out and start on the wood. I really wish hubby would help, but I honestly doubt that is going to happen. And, I am going to go for another load of wood. Once it warms up, I won't be able to get to the wood because it will be too wet! I'm ready to go in my bedroom, crawl in bed, pull a blanket up over my head and stay there until it warms up.

Deb, the storm track moved south. We were looking at 6-12, but are now at 3-5

Ugh. I don't know if I want to see what we're supposed to get. Last I checked it was 6-10".

Can I sit down now? I got another load of wood, which meant I didn't get the goodies or bread made. I'll have to do them tomorrow. But the wood is all out of my truck. Most of this load was the right size, so most of it is stacked properly. That gives me close to a cord of cut, split and stacked wood! I also have quite a bit that needs to be cut and/or split. I would say there's at least enough there to fill my wood box 2 or 3 times. So that means I won't have to use my stacked stuff. I'm hoping I can have that for next winter.

I'm hoping we don't have choir practice after church cuz I want to get out to the farm ASAP. Not only will I need to feed Stormy, take care of the chickens, clean the field and put out hay, I also have to put blankets on the horses, fill and hang the hay nets plus I'll bag some feed. I only have enough feed bag for Stormy for tomorrow and Monday. So just in case I can't get out there on Monday, I want feed bagged for Tuesday. That way I wouldn't have to do it first thing on Tuesday morning. Stormy gets kind of impatient if I have to bag feed B4 I feed him.

I'm also going to be washing a load of clothes tomorrow. I'm very low on whites, and planned on doing it on Monday. But, I want it done B4 then for just in case we lose power on Monday.

Today is going to be another busy day! This is the first chance I've had to sit down since I got up. But, my bread is made. I have a good fire going. I have dishes done. I got a shower. I even changed the laces in my barn boots! They still don't know for sure what this storm is going to do. So, instead of relaxing like I like to do on Sunday, I'm going to be busy prepping for it. I don't know if they're going to cancel church tonight as a precaution or not. But, since I got my bread made, if they don't, I can go!

I still need to do the following:

1. Feed Stormy, bag feed and take care of the chickens
2. Clean field
3. Put out hay
4. Fill and hang hay nets
5. Make split pea soup (I boiled up a ham bone the other day, so I just need to finish it)
6. Wash a load of whites
7. Feed goats
8. Make chocolate chip/banana bread and peach cobbler
9. Do dishes

I think that covers it. I need to remember to bring home my shovel from the farm.

I've finally had a chance to sit down. Everything that needs to be done outside is done. The horses have extra hay in the RB feeder, plus the hay in their hay nets. The chicken feeder is topped off. So, if I can't get out tomorrow, all RU will have to do is feed the horses. She won't have to put out hay, nor feed the horses. But, I'm hoping to get out.

Right now, it feels good to sit down and take a break. I'm hoping to relax for about an hour, then get started on the rest of my list. Is it wrong of me to hope they cancel church tonight?
