Dentist--ARRRgghh

Last time I had to have a broken tooth pulled, I asked the dentist to prescribe a tranquilzer. I got a prescription for one pill. I hallucinated cats jumping out of cupboards and off of shelves onto me for the hour I was home before heading out to the dentist, but I really didn't care what he did by then. He also used several injections AND gas. Woo-hoo!

I sold nutraceuticals to my dentist last time, and he gave ME a check before I left!!!! And he re-ordered since then!

They should give me one of what you had. Or just the gas. The shot doesn't work for me. The adrenalin kicks in so hard over the needle that the novacaine doesn't stand a chance. I had 7 shots of novacaine in one visit Felt all the work anyway.
When I walked outside the novacaine hit like a hammer. Had one tooth filled without anything the next year and it was easier for me. The dentist was freaking out about it and hassling me about it though. Haven't gone to a dentist since then. since 83.

What's really weird is I had a tattoo done - 2 hours work and I could deal with that better.

Had a cleaning appt at 9

well couldn't get there and THOSE I am not scared of..LOL..just want it over with to get on with my life (I hate appts of any kind...they get in the way of life haha)

Hwy 16 backed up insane! I waited about 15 mins...missed the appt, never moved and looked way up ahead and threw the trees I saw a ton of flashing red lights. Yup wreck.

So got turned around, hit the store for a second and called the dentist. She said everyone is missing appts. Backed up right past their office so nothing was moving.

Hope it wasn't too horrible of an accident for those invovled...ugh

but home with no cleaning and gotta go Monday at 9:30

I am more scared of a tattoo than the dentist....no, wait, hmm...they are both on the same level... :bun

The tattoo didn't have any needles coming at my face and I knew that I was going to have something beautiful from it.
It was also a rite of passage for me. I had just ended a very destructive relationship, and was making my life the way I wanted it again. The design fit me on many levels- I designed it and took my sketch in for the artist to know what I needed. He made it look much better, but he's a very good artist.

Remember the stars they used on the compasses and some old maps? They were fancier with the points equal length.

A star like that resting on the petals of a lotus. Full color and pretty.
