 tell Cassie to suck it up! She is doing it for the good of the pack.

hey your system is doing well for ya.........

so I went to PetSmart

I never thought I would go into PetSmart in my entire life, but yup, I ended up there today.

Bought a new small crate for the living room. Bought some very small chew hides. Bought a small metal exercise cage/pen (got the 2 ft high model cause he will never be tall :p) ta-da---$140

I almost fainted. Those cages and small crates are expensive and it sure twisted my gut to pay that but Tony said over a 15 year time that is cheap to control the pee situation HA HA I agreed.

prices were crazy. A VERY small dog sweater, was, get this $24.99
YOU GOT to be kidding me...who pays that? Not me

well I talked to the lady and she said to play with him, then crate him until he goes outside and does his thing. she said they just can't hold it at 9 weeks unless they are crated....cause they don't like to pee/poop where they sleep. Makes sense cause he can make the crate all night. So crating we go! :)

Yes, the dog coats can be expensive. I make my own now. I like the simple easy velcro ones that velcro at the chest and a strap that comes under the belly and velcros on the side. If you have discount stores, sometimes they have dog coats. I got some great dog coats at Marc's which is our local discount place. Paid $3 each for dog coats that have lasted me over 5 years.

I told Tony I made little goat jackets (way in the beginning of farming) and I sure can make a dog coat. way less than that price! :)

$3 is my style

OH OHIO

nope, I told Tony I could easily give him away tomorrow with no problem.....see I hate the thing in the house. Seriously, it kills me and I am so trying to handle the situation. I have to force myself to love the little bugger cause of Nicole. I have to adapt or die. I choose adapt...:th :barnie

But---then---on the other hand---his breath is better than Hubby's sometimes so that is a plus on his side

well---ok---you got me, I like the little sucker! :plbb

and he likes me best cause I feed him and take care of him. Nicole even said today, he likes to stay around you more than me...it upset her....I said don't turn him upside down and throw him over your shoulder like he is a rag and he might like ya a little bit better :bun

this little pup upset the house for sure :idunno

I have made my own pup jackets as well.. hillbilly style!

I find an appropriately sized old sweat shirt sleeve for the base and cut it to length then adapt away from there. :p The cuff becomes the collar.

I thought about that one day when we had a cat sacked inside of a sleeve to treat for ear mites. Which also work well by the way.

Puppies DO have a way of up ending a house hold. I think my floor is cleaner than it has been for years! This little rat finds every piece of fluff that is under or behind any thing. He is scouring the corners and crannies!

Forgot to say... No blanket in the kennel for a while either. If they pee you want it to be able to run and get on their feet, a blanket soaks it up.

ha HA! yep i knew it... personally i cant stand dogs in the house either. mine are in the "dog area" in the kitchen - tiled floors, scrubbable paint on the walls, direct access to outside.

we dont let them wander around at all. a couple times tho they've gotten past the gate at nite. usually when one has the runs... so in the morning... you guessed it. it looks like a buffalo crapped right on the living room carpet.

grrrr......

kai is learning that if she gives her daddy those big sad eyes he'll play with her while watching tv. she has him wound right around her curly little tail.
