I liked him in Roadhouse. Red Dawn 2? I liked Red Dawn when it came out but the premise was stupid. You'll never see a foreign nation invade the US. Just wont ever happen. Nobody has the capability.

I saw an interview with him. It sounded like he had lived longer than most and hopes of beating it.

yea big daddy
I saw him in an interview...he described his own life, troubles with marriage, drinking, etc.....and him trying to find that balance. He had problems like anyone---but that cancer slammed him. He sure fought hard. And he did great charity work for cancer also.

I think I most admired the will to live.

In his TV show--the Beast---he worked while very sick. Unbelievable.

He did fight longer than most out of sheer will I guess. They said he tried every treatment known. A definite fighter. 57 yrs old seems so young nowadays.

One thing I want is to collect Social Security. I want that check! :) I want some of my money back..LOL---I gotta hang in there just for that. I made that promise to myself...lol

I was about 14 when that movie came out, it really scared the you know what out of me! If I watched it as an adult, I would probably think the premise was dumb too. :p

I loved the premise and I'm not so sure that no one has the capabilities to invade the US. No country is immune to invasion....9-11 should have taught us something about how vulnerable we really are. Heck, we can't even keep out scads of unarmed Mexicans.....

When I first watched it, I was wanting to fight also! Picked apart all the stupid things they did and how we could have done it better!

I would dare to say that the US is pretty immune to invasion. 9-11 and Red Dawn were just a little bit different. I could see another terrorist attack, on a smaller scale, but no I don't see anyone flying jets in and dropping airborne on us. It's ok though. Hollywood comes up with a lot of ridiculous stuff that could never actually happen.
