I am sorry to hear about your friends passing. I remember you mentioning him before. I am sure he is resting comfortable now.

I enjoyed cleaning and painting at DD's. I haven't finished, so I will be going back tomorrow. We are doing the "nesting" together

Her hubby just wasn't even seeing the dust laden spiderwebs. I did, but didn't want to say anything. DD mentioned them the other day and I offered to clean them up for her. I also washed the windows in the baby's room, took down the screens and scrubbed them too. Then I painted them. But then I had to rush home and put our animals to bed.

I had to fix Billy's makeshift shelter, so it will hopefully keep him dry tonight. I also brought him a nice fresh mess of straw to lie down on.
We have one chicken in the house at the moment. She has gone lame, so we are pampering her for a while.

I am hoping SO is going to make dinner again tonight. I don't feel likek making any. I feel like sewing and like playing games on the computer. If it were just me, I'd probably just have some soup for dinner.

They are predicting some very cold weather for us. We might even get snow!!! We got our plants covered, I think. and we are trying to think of what we'll use to go sledding

The big event happened yesterday. I had just finished running my errands, when I got a call from SIL that they were at the hospital.

Little GS was born at 6:31 amid loving family. He is a beatiful and very alert little baby. DD was feeling better within an hour after the delivery. It is amazing how much the little guy affected her.

I have done my morning chores here, posted the good news, now I am off to take care of DD's critters at her house and then for a visit with the new little family.
