Yup, sweatshirt!!! If we had 102 degrees, I wouldn't have been surprised, but clouds and this cold stuff was rather unusual.

Actually about 20 years ago, it would be cold and foggy in the morning, the fog would burn off around ten or eleven, then it would get nice and hot, not 100 but around 80 or so and then the fog would come back aroun 4 or five and it would get cold again.

Clouds in the summer are very unusual here.

We don't get the humidity with the heat though and that makes a huge difference! I remember just swealtering in New York.

I have dried blackberry leaves for tea several times, but invariably they would get left outside and forgotten, so I never actually made tea. I guess it is time to try again. I have loads of herbal teas, I just need to make some. I used to drink herbal tea all the time. So I figure If I make a big batch and refridgerate it, I will be more likely to drink it. I don't drink enough fluids.

It's been a while since I've added to my journal.
I've just either been really busy or to tired.

I don't even really know where to start to catch up. I am still really busy.

My sister is coming for a brief visit today and I am looking forward to seeing her. I want to get chores done and fix some nice goodies for dinner.
So I need to go and see what is ripe and ready for picking, then decide what to make with it.
I need to find a good peach cobbler recipe too. I really want to make one of those. SO has been sking for one and we still have plenty of peaches.
I'll also be making cucumber salad, we have lots of cukes. All different kinds. It is fun to try the different ones out. SO is finding out that the "weird" cucumbers that I insistet on planting are as good or better than his "straight eights" that he always plants ;)

What, no one told him that we grow another head during pregnancy???

I was not a happy pregnant person.....very moody, cried at the Price is Right, cried at anything really, sick in the mornings, sick in the afternoons, sick at night, tired all the time.....you know, normal pregnancy feelings :D

Told hubby if he wants anymore we'll adopt :gig

Good luck with everything! :hugs

It's been more than 30 years since I was pregnant and I don't remember that much about it.

Poor SIL is in for a good one though. I could tell he really appreciated my comment and look after one of my DD's tirades, which was not directed at me or him by the way. She is NOT a happy pregnant woman

 My husband likes to tell people that I came after him with a knife while I was pregnant once. I laugh and tell them that he was dumb enough to complain about something while I happened to be holding a knife. Not my fault he was stupid.... Don't you know you're supposed to be nice to pregnant women???

She needs to read The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy....can't remember who the author is but it will make her laugh as only a pregnant woman can and it will make her realize that she is not crazy for feeling and acting the way she is.
