I liked that video you put on the study. I believe its true. I used to have a drawing I drew of the Earth and God's head beside it looking down.
It certainly gives us something to think about. I also like stuff like the science video because it reminds how great this creation is at times.

so the snow is tapering off, but the wind is really howling. I'm looking out the back windows, wondering about the coop roof.

Then *BLAM* from the front of the house. The storm door latch was blown loose, the door flew open, and destroyed the external light fixture. Door frame bent to heck, but the storm door glass window did not break, but the framing around it is warped to match the now bent door frame.

Guess who has a new 2.5' x 5' (or thereabouts) glass lid for a new cold frame I can build in the garden!!!!

I feel your pain :D It gets very windy here too. At least you get some cold frame materials out of it!

When we first built the duck hut, hubby, not following his wife's instructions, ended up building a very aerodynamic roof. It flew quite well over the the neighbors house!

I'm not going to say anything but the poor guy tried. ;)

The reason I was watching out the back at the coop, is the last time we had 45+mph windows, the coop roof peeled back. I was trying to get it nailed back down in 60mph winds and in driving sleet on ladder in 6 inches of mud. :hide

That's why the DW wants me to get more professional guidance on the coop we want to build this spring.
