... gets out of control....all we were going to do is dig up a few worms for the girls. Everyone had a shovel and it just got completely crazy.....

:lol: Nice worm digging Jamie! The snake was a cotton mouth I believe. Not even big enough to bite. About the size of a night crawler worm. DD caught it with bare hands and took it around back of the house to the chooks :lol:

A male bluebird was checking out the bluebird box this afternoon!!!!

Being the perfectionists, we squared it off before we quit. :lol: About 1/8 of the growing space has now been turned over. :p Going to put the lettuce, red beets, and cabbage in there once it finishes drying out and I can do a quick zip through with the tiller. I spread some old hen poo from last fall across the top. My hands got dirty!!!! :D
