Walked down to get the empty trash can and mail over lunch. Between the bright sun, slight breeze, and scent of flowering shrubs, I felt in my happy place.

Volunteer group posted 1000+ flags tonight at a local cemetery. Home now, sitting in the garage as the day winds down with a glass of ice water. Mr Osprey has made two trips to the nest, other birds are singing their evening lullabies, the air is still, and a couple of frogs are proclaiming their presence.

No, these are in Portage County.

We do participate in the Wreaths Across America in December at the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman

Ha that's cool I grew up just a half mile south of the cemetery and we could sit on the porch and here taps and the gun solutes

The title of this says all. It's been a long journey the past 12-13 years. Finally, passed a huge milestone buying this place last fall. Picking that radish was so emotionally satisfying this morning. Now if my body was 10 years younger. Lol
