Antelope steak? - first time I've heard of that.

I envy your corn. Ours is terrible this year.

Hello, whats this Antelope steak? I made a large batch of kosher dill slices and spears, spicy and regular, as well as some zucchini pickles today.

My friend's husband VERY tasty - evidently not a true antelope, but that is what they are called around here.

Our corn isn't doing as well this year as we would have liked. The peas now, those are a different story. We can't seem to keep up with our peas this year!!

I have to try doing onions that way, if I get enough!
Our grocery store has pickling cucumbers on sale. I'm going to check the farmer's market price first, then I'll be attempting pickles for the first time in many years.
I always grow pole beans now too. Mostly space issues here but I've had some of the other problems your friend has in the past with bush beans. I have tiny blossoms on my Wren's Egg beans that are just starting to turn into beans. I'm happy with that!
