The weather has been terrible this last week or so here too. The cold has been bone chilling. I have aches where I didn't know I had spots! :gig The kids hasn't been in school since Dec. 18th,...no school again tomorrow due to another snow coming. They hope by Monday school will be back in session. :fl WV is ill prepared for this kind of weather also. It has been years since we have had weather like this,..nobody is/was prepared. All you can do is take it one day at a time,...;) Stay warm FF!

Farmfresh, can you tell me more about the sweet potatoe slips?

I would love to try that - how many weeks before planting time do you start the slips? and do you do it just like you would an avocado pit (i'm thinking toothpicks and a small mouthed glass)

thanks
Rebecca
