You think CA is broke now...just wait a few months!

It would be funny if so many nice people weren't going to be so screwed.

Jerry Brown did a great job last time he was Governor. California may come out of this ok.

The whole country will be in bad shape before too long. The farm bill will be a thing of the past. Basic staples will soar. Grocery chains are already announcing it the day after the elections. Times will be getting tougher. The only bright spot is that small farmers will be able to compete fairly. The bad part of course is that an already cash strapped American public will be spending even more to stay alive. More businesses closing down as there becomes less money to spend.

At least 2 years of tougher times coming up. Thanks to everyone that helped.

Great episode of Glenn Beck today talking about rising food and commodities prices.
Sometimes this place shows highlights. Nothing up on today's show now, but there should be something there tomorrow...

We've also noticed the prices of food going up. Butter is awfully high.

For the past several years I've canned pears each fall. I just wait for them to go on sale for 50 cents per lb. and buy 2 boxes. This year they never got below 88 cents per lb. :(

CA is in so much financial trouble.
