Super Self-Sufficient
Reminds me of a house we looked a when we went to Mo last year. I had been drooling over it on line for almost a whole year prior. Amish built, 100 acres, barns, gardens. The add even described the place as "perfect for the SS lifestyle".
Well we figured out why. The road going in went from asphalt to dirt to being washed out. We literally for a few hundred yards drove through the bottom of a washed out creek in my Uncles Buick. I felt so bad I kept telling him he could turn around. He said "I couldn't if I wanted to".
But when we got to the end of that road it opened up to the most beautiful green valley. Cows, goats, barns and two of the largest Great Pyrenees. The house half way up the hillside.
It was nice, but I'd say SS because half of the year you can't get out.
Whats the saying? You need to kiss lots of frogs before you find your prince.
Just keep swimming, I mean looking.
