:celebrate for DH results!

:hit:hugs🙏 for DD!

Just recently read where a young woman had a heart condition, needed transplant. Being advanced pregnancy she was ICU until delivery. After which, heart totally failed and she was on machines until they had organs. 🥺😱. She had autoimmune issues making matchup extreme and they were to do a HALT transplant (heart after liver transplant) as the liver would assist in cleansing to make the heart less rejected. Now that's an unbelievable situation and I KNOW you can relate.

The reason I tell you this IS BECAUSE....she had the dual transplant -- donating her own good liver to another -- and came thru it all!! She was past 6 months out and alive. Of course meds, etc but a good life. So you see, modern knowledge can be great.

Hang in there!! 🫂🥰🙏

Waiting on news for today.

On another subject, do you have hay for the winter? In severe drought here in Trinity and surrounding counties. Many counties are on burn ban. As of yesterday my sheep are on dry lot. The one field I have fenced is already over grazed, with no rain, grass is not growing. Hay prices are getting stupid.

I’m completely out of hay. Got 1 bale yesterday for sheep, found Bahia, fertilized 4x5 bales nearby for only $65 and I’m going to stock up.

I know you got several bales before your daughter got sick, so you are good for now. Was just wondering if it will take you through the winter. Perhaps you could get your hay guy to hold some for you?

I bring this up because I know where your mind and heart are. Perhaps a phone call to your hay supplier and an explanation might be in order.

Thinking positive, your precious daughter WILL come through this and get to go home. I’m sure you will be there to help her until she recovers, I know I would and you love your daughter no less than I love mine.

Son in law just left for the hospital. Hope to get news on a surgery date. I'll be out of here in about an hour.

I've been thinking about hay but not terribly worried. They're baling here. I saw lots and lots of hay being moved yesterday. I think I've got about 8 or 9 big rounds. I'll touch base with my hay supplier soon.

He's a wonderful guy and wouldn't have a problem holding hay for me. He might, however, have a problem remembering that he's holding hay for me, lol.

I'm getting about 3 weeks out of each round but that would get better if I'd sell some of those mouths. I've identified several that I could sell if I had time to stay home and take care of it.

Ugh- just heard that the surgery wont be today. Not sure yet about tomorrow. Son in law just left to go back to their house to get the kids and bring them to my house. I’ll be staying at the hospital overnight. Daughter says she gets scared at night…🙁💔. Can’t have that!

So now it’s recovery and she’ll get to go home?
That is definitely the hope and plan. I came home last night and SIL stood watch. He said it was a long and sleepless night.

I feel his pain. I sat by her bedside the entire night Friday night - not even getting up to go to the bathroom (sorry- TMI). She had a grip on my hand and wouldn't let go. I was happy to do it for her if it brought her peace.

He sent me a pic this morning of her sitting up in bed with a cup in her hand. She hasn't had a sip of water or piece of ice in 9 days so I know that had to be the sweetest sip ever for her!

I'm about to wash the goat off of me and head to the hospital. Hope she has a good day!
