FEM all I can offer is a big :hugs You need some wine. And a day completely OFF. Hope you can get them to take better care of your Dad, so you can relax knowing he's o.k. No comment on DH… And work, wow, you need a clone, or a few days off!

Two days after that is the banquet that I alone plan for 200 people

Lucky YOU! Hope you don't have to do dishes.

The following week is a 3 day trip to New Orleans (that I alone have planned) with numerous stops for college visits, lunches, a Jazz dinner on a steamboat, a trip to Bubba Gump's and a chartered bus

I would go.....surprised you didn't have even more chaperones going!!

Next week I will have 4 days off -- in a row! :celebrate -- without pay :( Oh well...…:idunno I'll still take it. Will probably rain! :he :caf

And, I'm glad I'm NOT going! Thirty students and a non-stop itinerary -no thanks!

Met with the Hospice Nurse at the Assisted Living facility. Things aren't looking good for dad. :(

You are doing the best you can, with your Dad, DH, work and animals. You are only one person. I think you are doing fabulous, you might not think so, but pat yourself on the back. then go pour that glass of wine you really, really need!

Many hugs for you, FEM. :hugs

I love a good trip, but I would probably pass on NOLA. I have been once and the city was disgusting in places. It smells bad. I ate a beignet in the French Quarter and that pretty much fulfilled it for me. But glad the kiddos get to go-- I am all about the traveling!

:hugsWe both know this loss is not one he will be able to accept and it will affect his decline. There is little that can be done. Maybe the Hospice Nurse can get some meds for him to help with the emotional disruption he feels. Something to calm his anxiety. He has a good daughter!! But, you cannot resolve this no matter what you do. At this point meds may be the only way to assist.

Yes, you deserve a big glass of wine. It will help you sleep.:hugs
