Thanks! Doesn't seem to matter how many times we do this there's still a tiny bit of nervousness attached. At least on my end...

Always will be & should be -- things happen. So far, this doctor seems to be on point. Praying for a GREAT outcome. Yeah, leaving at 5 is a touch tight. :) You'll make it! No breakfast to cook, as I'm sure DH can't have anything.

WOW -- lot of cooking!! Yes, it will be great next week when you have to work. The end is near, you have a nice "time off" coming up. Enjoy it! I love stuffed peppers, well all the things you cooked!

By the way, my goat meat was extremely tender, sauce tasty. Nice dinner. But, I find the goat meat is such a mild taste, it needs all the spices. That's a little disappointing. :idunno I'm working on ways to prepare before I raise a bunch of these rascals & fill a freezer.

A good steak still rules!

I think that's why I enjoy goat meat - because it responds so well to spices. I love strong tastes like red wine, rosemary and garlic. That combo is a staple in a lot of things I enjoy. I have even marinated steaks in a combo of those three.

I like that you're thinking about raising Boers again. I think it's a good move!

Good luck with your DH's surgery tomorrow! Hope everything will go well and the results will be what you're hoping for. Only a few more days and then you're off from work and can (hopefully!) relax some at home.

Goat meat is something I haven't had yet, simply due to lack of availability, but it sounds like something I'll enjoy cooking with and eating.

Thanks! At the surgery center now...been here about 45 minutes. He's in the back but there's a surgery in front of his so we'll be here awhile. Ugh...

Sitting in the waiting room next to a loudly snoring man. Wish I could fall asleep that easily, lol.

Are you asleep yet?
I wish I was one of those people who could sleep in public - but it doesn't work. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard since I only got about 3 hours sleep last night... Just couldn't fall asleep even in the comfort of my own bed. But we're home now and he's being a grouchy AS... anyway I guess he's entitled. Trying to convince him to go crawl in bed and sleep it off. I'm thinking that sounds like a good idea for me too.

Eek glad he's done, hope he sleeps it off! Lol. Does it hurt when they do that to his eye? It can't be fun, ugh.

We went up stairs to nap. He only slept about an hour because he said the pain woke him up. OTC meds seem to be controlling it now. I literally crashed and slept for 2.5 hours. I think I could have stayed in the bed until tomorrow - I'm still tired. Gotta get out and feed the critters - they were neglected this morning. No way I was going out at 4am. I'm a bad goat mama...

Really glad I did all that cooking yesterday cuz I really don't feel like cooking now.
