Wow 87 is a little much for Nov. We're in low-mid 70s which is over our mid 60 norm. I'm good with it 😉 Already dreading the 30s in Jan/Feb. Hate cold.

Hope DH is keeping a walker close for support until his equilibrium is back! It may not be his want to but, it helps.

We actually topped out at 89....crazy stupid!

I'm bummed. I thought DH's appt was Monday the 11th. Nope, it's Monday the 18th. ARGH! I was all set to get that adjustment done so... He's doing ok and starting to try to do more things on his own. Yes - walker is at hand unless I'm deliberately walking him up and down the hallway without it. I think it makes sense to practice walking the way he will (hopefully) eventually walk. The walker gets in his way - but it is a necessity right now.

I got some more seeds tucked in to replace the ones that didn't sprout. Slackers! I still need to get a few more peas planted. My back protested yesterday and it was too stupid hot anyway. I can get that finished up today if the rain doesn't settle in. We've had a light shower already this morning.

I got 14 sacks of feed yesterday. I got about half unloaded last night. I'll finish up today. Also got the yard mowed for what I hope is the last time this season. With our warm weather and rain, I might not get my wish.

Spent a good bit of time outside yesterday following does around with a stick in my hand. Taped to the end of the stick is a cup. Goats are afraid of a stick with a cup on the end, lol. And, waiting for a goat to squat and pee is frustrating! However, I was successful with 3 girls and (WHOOP) had positive results. Literally walked 2.5 miles following goats around!

Seem to have a problem with one doe. I suspect cystic ovaries. Ugh... guess I need to put in a call to the vet if she cycles again. It's one of the new (high priced) Boer does. The other two Boers were tested and confirmed bred.

Took a walk through the little garden area and saw taters poking through! Yay! I still need to finish putting peas in the ground. Got side tracked, lol. That happens occasionally!

Son has a car-show today. He's got two cars and a motorcycle entered. I'm going to try and get up there in time for the awards ceremony.

Hurray for seeds sprouting! I like car shows - but NOT when we spend hours there. A couple of glances, some admiration and such, then its time to go.

This was last weekend in Paso Robles at a Air war museum and a car museum

I like the car shows too. This one is a small town affair, but they have a pretty big turnout. They hold it twice a year. The spring show is generally bigger than the fall show, but that's ok. Better chances to win that way, lol.

Son and DIL came away from the car show with three plaques. Yay!

DIL and I went fishing Sunday morning. It was a very weird fishing day. I caught a bunch of little bluegill. She caught a bunch of little bluegill too. Then she started fishing in what we refer to as the "Devils Den" because it is notorious for snagging your line and causing you to get hung up. It's also the best fishing place on the entire lake. She had an alligator gar take her bait once...alligator gar are pretty strong and they have sharp teeth - it snapped her line. Picture for reference - the one we saw wasn't nearly that big. Probably only about 2 feet long.

That wasn't all, lol.

There was also an alligator. A real live alligator! We've seen it before. It must've been in a playful mood. Every time she'd cast into the Devils Den the alligator would swim up to her bobber and bop it with his nose, lol. No idea why! Guess he was bored. This is a smallish alligator - about 3 ft long. But it makes you wonder where mama and daddy gator are.

It was nice to get away for a little while. This fishing hole is literally less than 10 minutes from home. I kept in close touch with DH and he was fine.

Worst part of Sunday - my Texans lost AGAIN. What the heck is up with that? We've had a lot of our top guys out with injuries but they need to find a way to win anyway. This is the big time guys - get your stuff together!

Got most of my replanting done but haven't seen anything make an appearance yet.

Finally got another Physical Therapy group on board. We will see them for the first time tomorrow morning. Hope they're as great as the other group.
