Backtracking here a few posts. So the urine you tested for pregnancy on your does…. How exactly did you collect it or was it just smashing a test on the wet ground? Was it a test intended for humans?
I hope DH is on the mend. I’m sorta thinking about PT for myself because old girl has seen much better days.

This is the one I used.

For collection I used a fairly long piece of lightweight PVC pipe with a cup taped on the end. The hardest part is waiting for one to actually need to pee, lol. Generally, if they've been laying around cudding they'll "go" pretty soon after they get up and start moving around.

PT has been really good at helping us learn the most efficient way for him to move. It's taught us a lot.

Listed some goats for sale yesterday - supposed to have someone coming tomorrow to pick up 4. Now - will this person really show up? Who knows? I think this is the same person who has previously ghosted me so I'm skeptical. Went ahead and caught the hard to catch one and put her and the other grown doe who should be going in the trailer. The other two are youngsters and they love me so they'll be easy to catch if/when the prospective buyer shows up. Selling is the worst part of goat ownership in my opinion. Doesn't help that I'm really not all that fond of some people and I'm especially not fond of people who have no understanding of decent behavior. If I'm ghosted this time I will block their number and never deal with them again for the rest of my life, lol.

Rain is on the weather agenda for Sunday and Monday. Thought I 'd better get some mowing done before (if) it actually materializes. The pond level is down so it gives me the opportunity to mow really close. so much easier than weed whacking out there. As usual, my hair, and ears are full of grass, dust and debris, lol. I even purchased a hat and a gaitor. They work great when I use 'em. Oops. Still need to finish up mowing and do the evening feeding before I can shower and relax for the evening. I've got a couple more hours of sunlight so I should get to it.

I want brownies....

Cake mix is pretty versatile stuff. I've actually used it to make cookies. When I thought I didn't have brownie mix I looked online and sure enough, you can also make brownies out of a cake mix too!

Yesterday was a fairly decent, fairly busy day. Texans don't play until tonight night so I didn't spend all day on the couch. We got an inch of rain yesterday and more today. Need to check the gauge.

Doc appointment this morning went as expected. They adjusted his shunt so hopefully we will notice some improvement soon. He'll have to have another CT scan in a couple of weeks to make sure CSF isn't pooling in his head instead of draining. I never thought this would be so involved.

Prospective goat buyer from the other day didn't follow through. What else is new? Might just keep these gals. Two of 'em are bred and the other two youner does are just sweet as sugar. I like sweet goats, lol.

Need to go fix the man some lunch
