I bought a DP120 from Perry's Milkers. Worth every penny. I used it for the first time this year tonight. I milked 3 girls last night and my hands hurt so bad I almost couldn't use them today. Hard to hold anything. OD'd on OTC pain killers and all it did was dull the pain.

Milked 4 girls tonight in 20 minutes and took 10 minutes to clean the machine. One was an FF that I was also battling to milk. Stood there and ate once I got the tubes on her. She did fight a bit while I got the tubes on but once on, she was fine. Made all the difference in the world to me.

I got the milker last year. We decided that carpal tunnel surgery or being unable to do any work was not an option and we could afford the milker more than those options. Milking tonight was wonderful.

OMG Marianne - I'm soooo glad you didn't see the title yesterday when it said "Child Labor Laws"...You prolly would've called the DOL on me! just kidding

I have a "seasoned" milker coming to see what I'm doing wrong this evening. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong per se but they have extensive experience in dealing with teeny teats and goats that threaten to have the book thrown at you. Hopefully with their mastory skills Fudgie's udder will be drained completely.

I learned so much from my doe Eloise last year that Fudgie doesn't stand a chance against me. That's why when she threatened me with suicide I just let her hang for a minute to decide if that's what she really wanted......ok, I really didn't but that's why I didn't freak out. If she figured out that jumping = not good then I did my job.

I sure wish that bringing in the "Big Guns" meant bringing in the BIGGUNS. I need me some big teats that's fo sho.

I thought it would be more funny if I was inconspicuous about it.....

And that you'd get a good laugh ;)
