In order to have the goats trim it once a year I'd have to lead them there and sit and wait...which is something I don't really want to do. The other issue is that this particular bush was a massive breeding ground for beetles. I practically had to drench the entire thing with bug killer each summer so the dang beetles wouldn't infest all other plants I have.
I'm glad it's gone. From that area anyways...I did transplant some of it to a part of the yard where it can grow as it pleases. I promised to not take the clippers to it for at least 2 years....
Not too much else going on. Tested the sound system for The Party that's in 2 weeks. little g and I had our own dance party in the yard Saturday evening - he showed me his "cool moves" which seemed to be a mix between an attempt at breakdancing and fidgiting because he had ants in his pants. It was cute!
Day 9 of The Treatment today. Almost there.
Everyone actually looks great! Putting weight back on, poops are good and berry like and they all seem to have energy.
I still wish all my goats were like Jenny and Katie, the Saanans. They walk right up to me, sniff the syringe and just start licking and sucking the medicine down.
Which, by the way, tastes HORRIBLE. Don't ask how I know.
