What kind of rose is that ? And where can I get some? I tried to look up beach rose and not much turned up. Sounds like it's just what I need for the fence row, something that just won't die !:D
Ugh...if you were close to me I'd say come and grab the last remains!!!

here's an artice on them I had the white one. Supposedly it doesn't grow too big, but in my case, it morphed into a giant. A serious, annoying and disgusting giant like the pictures below.

Here's some pictures - not mine, but gives you an idea of what they look like:

I wish I was closer! You have the super hardy variety! I may try and order some. It's just for the fence line between the livestock and the road. Those pics are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

SD - unfortunately it's not a weed. I purposely planted it in the front of the house.

I was told it wouldn't grow much larger than 4x6 which is perfect for underneath the bedroom windows that face the front of the house.

Not the case.

They are really pretty flowers, don't get me wrong, but this particular monster just got out of hand.

Mo's and Dragon....I still have some that just won't die. Anytime you're in my area feel free to look me up!

I think it is gorgeous. Can't you train your goats to give it a trim once a year?

In order to have the goats trim it once a year I'd have to lead them there and sit and wait...which is something I don't really want to do. The other issue is that this particular bush was a massive breeding ground for beetles. I practically had to drench the entire thing with bug killer each summer so the dang beetles wouldn't infest all other plants I have.

I'm glad it's gone. From that area anyways...I did transplant some of it to a part of the yard where it can grow as it pleases. I promised to not take the clippers to it for at least 2 years....

Not too much else going on. Tested the sound system for The Party that's in 2 weeks. little g and I had our own dance party in the yard Saturday evening - he showed me his "cool moves" which seemed to be a mix between an attempt at breakdancing and fidgiting because he had ants in his pants. It was cute!

Day 9 of The Treatment today. Almost there.

Everyone actually looks great! Putting weight back on, poops are good and berry like and they all seem to have energy.

I still wish all my goats were like Jenny and Katie, the Saanans. They walk right up to me, sniff the syringe and just start licking and sucking the medicine down.

Which, by the way, tastes HORRIBLE. Don't ask how I know.

sounds like you had a productive weekend. Big G sounds like fun, your description of his dancing is funny. Does HE read your journal? hee hee

my hubby would be appalled at the things I write and I would NEVER want him to see how I poke fun of him here. :hide but I just can't help it. :duc

Hee Hee....SD..I said little g showed me his dance moves, not Big G!

He does get some of his moves from his dad, though....unfortunately.

Big has all the access he wants, but claims he "doesn't know" how to figure this "stuff" out.
