Holy carp! Merle, tell Sally I said "Extra SMOOCHIES!" and if she gets the chance, shoot me an e-mail. I lost my entire list in the great computer collapse of 2010 here. I'd love to email her personally.

Oh Sally! :hugs :hugs :hugs

Just knowing exactly what the issue is will give you guys strength to fight it as much as you can. You are a bulldog of a mom! We'll continue to send up words for you for strength and loving-kindness and for Sam for endurance & healing. And more :hugs :hugs :hugs

ETA: It just occurred to me.........are they here alone? Since they're here from TX, do they have any family or anyone as a support system (besides SS'ers) to help them thru this? Or just the two of them? I don't mean to be so nosy about their personal life, but I'm just concerned about them & the toll of going thru this alone. :hugs

They have lived in WA for 2+ years now, if I remember correctly. She has a handful of great friends that live in the general area, so she's in good hands!

Sally emailed me saying that it was postponed for today, but not sure on a time.

don't know how i've missed this until now, but Sally and Sam are definitely going to be in my thoughts.

so glad that there are good doctors out there that really dedicate their lives to helping people. i've had so much experience with the bad kind that i often loose faith in all of them. but stories like these restore the balance a bit.

Thanks everyone!

Sally just sent me this;

"The cardiologist drained 1/2 liter of fluid out of her heart lining! This is going to make healing easier and faster. Her vitals immediately leveled off without medication. We are still not out of the woods, but we are a lot closer"

:clap
