for DS's 8 year physical and review of the ADHD checklists. I don't know what I'm expecting. I'm eager to have it over with. I'm not expecting a whole lot from the ped. other than a recommendation that we have the school psychologist test him.

Not much to say. He thinks DS is pretty typical for an 8 yo boy who needs to mature some. He said let the school do their testing and didn't even bring up the possibility of medication.
So we're off to OSV to see the lambies!

Good news!

Boys are tough ones, they are expected to sit and listen and focus and pay attention....all things that are not natural for little boys. hey need to run and jump and bounce and yell

Have you done intelligence testing done? The reason that I ask is because a lot of gifted boys have some similar classroom issues.

We are going to request that the school psych. do some testing when we meet on the 28th. That will be on the list.
