My grandpa used to work at Food Lion (grocery store) and they were getting rid of one of those big pepsi coolers that they had at the front of the store cause it was too big. He snatched it up and now it is in my mom's garage and she uses it as an extra storage fridge and wine cooler!!! She loves it!

Now that was a score!!
We're back from OSV with a new book..... oh Free, guess which book they had in the bookstore?? We got to meet a 5 week old Devon calf and two Lineback calves.
It was actually a little chilly and not too crowded. A couple of loud school groups but not like the height of summer or spring before most schools get out.
Pictures to come!

The 200 recipe one mentioned in the thread above.
Yes, we're hoping that DS can tolerate goats milk. He's being weird about trying it so I'm not pushing it.

Beautiful! I have got to get the family over there!

And YAY on the book!!!! Ooooooh.....my dad cut my containers so I can make my camembert molds tonight...check out the photo of it in the book and you will see why I am excited! It makes me drool just thinking about it!

I got pasta keepers, the kind with the red strainer caps, at Ocean State Job Lot for $0.88 each. He cut the bottoms off so I have tubes. I will drill holes in them tonight. They are a little smaller than the 4" diameter that the book mentions, but close enough, I think.

Currants are still illegal in MA, but you can have them in CT....wait....isn't OSV in MA? Was that law lifted? Or do they have contraband currants there? I want some, too.

Because of a disease that affected some crop that also affected currants and another berry....gooseberries, maybe? The law was in many states but was lifted in some because the new varieties aren't a problem.

My town dips down into CT so I don't see why I can't have some.....
