I really-really-really want a cast iron waffle iron, the type you use on the top of the stove or over a fire.....

Yay on the jam! We haven't tried yours yet. I usually save jam for French toast....yum!

Almost there. I don't know if I'll be this gleeful in a few hours when I'm buried in my supervisor's mess.
And we're out of coffee. :barnie and the dogs woke us up before 5. :rant
But Donki is giving us more milk the last few milkings. :woot
Cross your fingers :fl Thomas' bigger horn bud thingie is looking a little crusty around the edges. Maybe it will fall off soon??? :fl

Your DH's project looks so cool! How fun that must have been.

I hope you son's last day of school goes well.

I can't remember - is your jam sugar free? One of my favorite decadent things is stuffed french toast - with a sweet cream cheese and jam filling :drool

More later. I am at DH's school hoping to drop of DS and go to the yarn shop but it's not looking like that will happen. He's upstairs frantically entering grades. Will have to wait until tomorrow if Mom will take DS.

It's already too small for all the milk waiting to be turned into those things!
We're off to Old Sturbridge Village for the day.
My first day taking care of animals solo. DH is still working. We did just fine AND I found the hidden duck nest haha!

My yogurt maker is a large picnic cooler and nine quart jars!

I had to get a second fridge....found a great one on CL for $100 that was only three years old, used by a florist who finally found the used glass-door one she wanted. My second fridge has no freezer...it is ALL fridge! I love it!

WHOA! Major flashback. My grandparents had an old 50s fridge in their basement..... rounded corners, chrome. DH LOVED that thing.
Anyway, I'm sure that wouldn't be efficient but we will keep our eyes open. With a little dejunking in the basement we could do that. We have an upright freezer down there.
DS gets to try goats milk this weekend!!
