I gave my friend KC some of the chevre I made this weekend and she just called to say she served it to guests last night on a salad of fresh greens from her garden. :ep They loved it! She wants to trade for any extra I have. She has wonderful fiber skills, taught me to drop spindle spin, can help me finish knitting projects when I get in over my head. She is going to the new stable that opened around the corner from me to check it out. Don't know if I can afford lessons for DS (or myself ;) ) but I won't know if I don't ask. She's ridden most of her life and does therapy with kids too.
:weee
Really nice day here..... :celebrate

Ooooo! Riding lessons! Fantastic for kids, and moms, too! (I used to teach.....)
I've done trail rides maybe twice in my life! I loved horses as a kid but we didn't have the money for lessons. Last time we went they made feel so bad about my weight I never wanted to go again...
I figure if we can swing it, it will only be good for DS!

Finally went back the naturopath about this eczema on my legs. It just won't completely go away. So she takes one look and says, "Is this area new?" I looked and said, yeah, like a week or so. She groaned and said "Go to your PCP as soon as you can. That looks like a classic bullseye to me." Ugh. It never occured to me that it was something separate. And I have no awareness of being bitten by a tick, which I realize doesn't mean anything. So I'll call in the morning. She had me start probiotics tonight.
She did also order allergy bloodwork for me to so we can see if we can figure anything out about the eczema. She recommended some homeopathic rememdies for that. I'd like to be able to wear shorts in public without people looking at me like I'm contagious. :(

Thanks, answers will help. Looking at pictures online doesn't. I've found a few that look similar but are ringworm rather than Lyme. Yuck!
