On a mission
Happy Anniversary! Looks like a lovely day! That's a lot of destemming
Thanks Gina! We started with the blue pyrex bowl which my Granpa ate his corn flakes in for decades with the silver spoon he'd had since his childhood. He was born in 1906! Then we collected the other pieces at flea markets and tag sales. The tough one was the red one. We finally found it at the Brimfield Antiques show in MA about 10 years ago! Paid waaaaaay more than we had for any of the others just to complete the set. I also have some of the white pieces with the blue roosters and Amish looking folks. And some Fire King green pieces and some pink ones with berries....TanksHill said:Thanks for sharing the pictures. Just beautiful!! Glad you had fun. those berries are yummy looking. I think I can honestly say I don't think I have ever had a current.
By the way I love the vintage Pyrex. I have managed to collect several pieces. I found another yellow bowl at the Goodwill the other day.
have a great day!!

We are so lucky to live close to such a beautiful area! And the weather was ideal. Still is today. Heat wave coming though. Better enjoy it while I can!lorihadams said:Wow! so pretty, looks like you guys had a good time
