DS persuaded DH to buy an "Easy Button" at Staples yesterday. I had forgotten, but one night at obedience school we worked on shaping behaviors with our dogs. One of the possible activities was to train the dog to hit the button with its paw. So I cut up some hot dog, put the button on the floor and waited. The Golden looked at me, I looked at the button, he moved around and accidently bumped it. I gave him a piece of hotdog and waited. In about 3 minutes he had it figured out. I've got to get my video recorder to connect with this computer so I can share it. It's too funny!

Remind me all the reasons that I don't want to put DS on ADHD meds. Because he's had all day to finish a short paragraph and he just sat at his desk next to me for 15 minutes and all he managed to accomplish was a drawing of a monster on a tissue.
DH wants to come sit next to him to help him stay focused and got mad at me when I snapped at him that he can't sit next to him at school. Sheesh I am so tired.
DH has no school again tomorrow for more snow removal. Seems they cleared the roofs and now they need to clear the doorways and driveways and parking lots.

Little g has school, thankfully. Hopefully he can get in a full week, but who knows. We got a letter saying they're going to meet tonight to discuss cancelling Feb vacation and making the 17th & 18th regular school days. I'm all for it!

I'd rather make up the days in Feb too. We had a survey that concluded last night. no word on results yet. Most of us want to lose Feb and still have April off.glenolam said:

UGh, remembered in the middle of the day that I had a dentist appointment scheduled for this afternoon after school. Two old fillings were starting to let go so they had to be replaced. So they are done, I'm still numb and I have to go run a Cub Scout meeting. Should be delightful!!
