$3200 seems steep to me too, especially in this economy.

Weeeelll....these nubians aren't in milk either, though. This guy didn't breed them last fall because he's looking to get out of goats. He said he's shown them in big fairs like the Big E but until I see the papers I won't believe it.

Now - OTOH I have a nubian buck..... dang. persuasive much!

Not to worry, I have no intention of spending $3200 on a pony of any quality, or $1000 for that matter. Buying a pony or horse at this point in our lives is out of the question. It's just a matter of DS having bonded with the little guy and he'll be disappointed when and if he goes. Hopefully that price is so steep that won't happen for a good long time.

I'm going to try to replant my peas. The dog knocked them off the deck rail while celebrating his second birthday last night. :barnie

If that one were by me I'd be talking to hubby about buying it.

They said they've had a few other people interested in her so she's on a first come first serve basis. I've emailed their telephone number to you, Hen.

New computer finally-yay!!!! The old one was seriously ill and quite old. we limped it along as long as we could but now that our tax refund is here we got a new one. Nothing fancy but at least it doesn't take half an hour just to turn it on and get it running!!

From months of no duck eggs at all, we got 5 today!!! Pretty good considering we have exactly 5 female ducks. We got 7 chicken eggs from 15 hens, which is an improvement. New chicks come next week. Dominques and Delawares. I had one Dominique rescue hen who only lived a few months. I've never had Delawares. I really want to add some more Easter Eggers but really can't go over 18 hens. I've got 15 now. And I'm getting the chicks from someone who already placed an order.

It occured to me I could show the shawl pattern without finishing it by using a link! Duh! Here you go! Scroll down to Wavebird and that's it. I'm using an Ellen Cooper yarn. I'm almost to the first lace part!!
