What? Not all milk and eggs? I thought you just sprinkled some seeds and milk appeared. Wait. Goats are involved somewhere too... they weed for you right?
Oh yeah, they weed. And they know exactly which plants you want them to weed vs. the ornamental/veggie/fruit plants..... yeah, right!

I am back from Gleno's place. Gorgeous ride through some nice farms. I have several jars of Fudgie's milk. Thank you thank you thank you!!
We started at our favorite nursery where I found another red currant bush. It has berries starting as does the one I thought I killed last year. I've got two blueberry bushes to plant too.
DH started on the garden fence while we were gone, at least until the thunderstorms started and the hail came. Nothing major, just a quick passing storm or two. Enough to keep us from hiking though. Or working in the yard under our tall trees.
I should try to get something done around here I suppose. We should probaby show our faces at the big spring gala at DS's school. Not feeling up to it at the moment but we can show up at 6:30 for the raffle drawing and at least say we were there....

Hee Hee...bummer about that window! Our birds don't really know what to do now that we aren't letting them run amok around the yard any more...

I'm waiting for Big G to get up from a nap...then supposedly we're going to start on the goat barn...we shall see.

I sure hope the rain starts again so I can put on my white T Shirt...

Wow what an exciting morning. good to hear your recovering well. :p

I had to take my dd 8yo to a b day party today. I could not find any shoes without turkey and stinky meat bird poo stuck to them. :barnie

I settled on a pair that must be 10 years old. Goes to show I don't get out much.

Al, I did the ACL surgery on my first Rottie. I feel for you.

I wore a pair of work shoes, comfortable and poo free. I don't have many of those!
We bought a few raffle tickets for the baskets and won nothing. Oh well... Said hi to a few people. DS got to hang out with some school buddies for a little bit. Just wish it hadn't gotten so late.

I find that throwing myself on the ground and kicking and yelling helps a lot. If you hit a wall, grab some dynamite :D

Abi, you crack me up! My DH would say something similar. He would say something more along the lines of, when you hit the wall, get a ladder. He doesn't do boxes either.

I got over it..... I just wasn't feeling very social and I HAD things TO DO at home. And of course by the time we got home I was too tired to do them. So I will spend Mother's Day doing them....
If the weather cooperates we will be going letterboxing/hiking. But they said we could have pop up thunderstorms again so we will have to watch that.

I am sitting here at the kitchen table with the bird feeders just outside the window. Yesterday I watch our male Baltimore Oriole feeding from the suet cake. Today Mrs. BO showed up. The Golden was sitting right near it and she didn't care much. We've been getting a pair every spring. I love Mr.'s song. If the cushion on the porch swing wasn't wet I'd be sitting out there. But I risk being late for church as it is so I will get moving.
Have a great Mother's Day!!!

Oh yeh! It's Sunday now. I went to my mom's for mother's day. I was surprised at the invitation. My mom's trying too hard and I find it creepy. But she does get points for trying >.>

My weekend is Wed/Thu and I still get confused about what day it is since I call that Sat/Sun lol.

Glad you are feeling better. I want a real porch with a swing!!! If the world doesn't implode and I get a good paying job and continue through nursing junks til I am rich I'd consider getting credit and land. LOL. Too many ifs so not bloody likely. My more realistic plan is to squat auntie's neighbor's houses, wait til things implode, and then claim them mine by right of arms. hee hee.

FF: ladders don't go boom, you see. LOL. Boxes aren't anything some gasoline and matches won't fix. We don't need no stinkin' boxes!!
