THanks! I can hear something rolling by to the north of us. I'm hoping among other things that hail doesn't flatten my seedlings newly planted in the garden!
Sorry for your loss Free. It seems to have been a rough spring for a lot of us. :\
I hope your tractor makes it through!
I can hear the scanner across the street going wild. It's getting darker and darker. I think I will pull out some flashlights and battery operated lanterns. We just put new batteries in a bunch of them when I went camping a few weekends ago.

Thanks, we've got the news on. There's a tornado up in Mass right now in the Springfield area. I think we're out of the tornado danger zone at this point but may see a thunderstorm later. There's still one rolling by north of us. Boston's about to get nailed. The tornado threat is headed toward Sturbridge now.
Hoping Free can check in soon.....

Rain has started. The local news is just playing the Weather Channel. Heavy rain now. Hope the lettuce and other greens that just started coming up survive. It's thundering now. I'll be back later.

We had some dime sized hail. It's just raining now but we're still under a watch. THis is very unusual for CT!

please be safe. Don't let your guard down. I hope all is safe up there, and yes, this weather is weird this year.

Well, we didn't get blown away yet but have been busy calling friends who are in the tornado zone. Some are still stuck in Springfield since they work there. My BFF/sister (we adopted each other years ago) was right in the path and hid in her basement but is ok.

One touched down about 3 miles from us. Another took out a friend's parents house in the next town over, they are ok though. It is getting 8:30 dark right now and it is only 7 so now I'm nervous again....dh just left to get food (we refuse to cook tonight) after making it through a gazillion phone calls. He is an elder in our congregation so has a list of people to check on in case of any such thing....and our services are cancelled tonight because of no power at our place of worship so he had to call his list for that, too....then call again when another one hit to see if everyone was ok!

We don't live in a tornado area! Give me blizzards!! I want snow!!!! I can deal with snow....see my shovels? See my big, huge snowblower? See my set of studded tires? See my shiny new roof rake????? See my down clothing and my big warm boots???????

NO TORNADOS!!!!!!!! :hide
