The post above yours was "disturbing new trends" and I read your title as "Disturbing Bunny Pics"....

I wondered what you'd done!!!

Sorry you are still so ill :( I hope it doesn't turn into pneumonia. :hugs

This is you if you cough near me... :duc :D
Nope, no disturbing bunny pics. Not yet anyway. She is a doll. Very friendly. She loves to come out and explore. I got her a harness and leash today. She was living outside in the breeder's rabbitry and seems to miss the fresh air. She stands up in her cage and sniffs towards the open window.

The baby chickens have moved out to the barn!
They are still in their dog crate but they are out of my house!!!
I'm taking a nap and hoping the dinner fairy comes while I'm sleeping. A girl can dream, right?
Horse show tomorrow. DS's first time off lead line. He was having trouble with the pony dipping his head at his lesson yesterday. He ended up in tears. His instructor spent some extra time with him talking about how to deal with that and made sure he ended on a possitive note. He's looking forward to the show. Then I think he can just ride this summer and maybe compete at a fair or two and leave it at that to take some pressure off. It's not like him to melt down like he did last night.
His report card was mailed but I'm able to access it online. His grades were great! As in all academics other than a B in writing, which he isn't fond of doing. Handwriting was a C. He's a third grade boy. Not surprising it's not a strong point for him. His computer grade was also a C. Not sure what's up there. He probably has a harder time focusing in there. Art went from a C to a B. Gym stayed a B. Again, a little harder to stay on task. It occured to me today that I didn't suffer the same stress waiting for his year to be over, praying that he'd get through each minute without incident...
Oh and I graduated high school 30 years ago tonight :ep

I've ord ered wire storage cube sets to build Mary a bunny condo like Martha's. Two stories should be good I think. She seems to like coming out and hopping around more than Martha does. But we did have Martha out tonight for a toenail check and she is a chubby bun! Needs some extra exercise. I'll be checking with DH to see if he's feeding her too much pelleted food. Our big Californian, Ringo, used to get a half cup. She doesn't need nearly that much but he is a man of routine and tends to slip back into old habits...
I'm putting my wet socks on and heading to bed. I hope the Golden doesn't think it's too warm to lay across my feet. The yucky wet sock feeling goes away quicker when you've got 70 lbs of yellow fur on your feet!

It just occured to me :smack (that's me smacking myself) that no one has stepped up to do anything extra around here because I'm having to keep up with work stuff and not slow down much. So I'm getting no break at home either. We finished the All Star game then I had to take DS to get a Father's Day card for DH. I had to make dinner. When I sat on the couch later and coughed for an hour straight they still didn't get it. Now I'm up to get DS off to his horse show. I've fed almost all the animals. DH got the dogs, cats and Martha. I made fresh scones. They just aren't getting it. :hit

Sometimes you just have to tell them specifically or ask for help with what you want them to do. Usually in my experience, they don't "just get it". :hugs

Yes. If you keep going, they assume you can.

It's why most people I work with are surprised I'm autistic. I keep my meltdowns quiet, quick, and get right the hell back to work :p

I hit meltdown point after the show. I held it together through that. DS rode beautifully and won a first, a fifth and a second in beginners walk/trot, his first time showing off lead line on the Halflinger, Shine, who was so miserable for him at his lesson last week.
Then we got in the car and the whining started. I laid it out, how I haven't taken a break this whole week that I've been sick. I've worked, cooked and cleaned and made sure DS got to all the places he needed to be and stayed and watched him as well. DH asked if we could go out to dinner for Father's Day instead of me cooking. Well, yeah, if you can wake me from my nap on the sofa, we can do that!
I've got a load of laundry going, I'm downloading pictures. Then I'm hitting that couch, I swear!

Thanks. Got all the pics off the cameras. Now to close my eyes for a bit before posting any. My mom just came and picked up DS. So I get a little bit of a break.
