Will do. I know it's something they've been working on.
Good. I never really took lessons until last year, and always thought I had a fairly descent seat, even asked people about it, and was always told I was fine, only to find out that it wasn't! I've mainly just trail ridden. But, I'm wanting to maybe do some showing next year, so I'm really working on refining my riding. And, it's taking me a bit.

That's good. Sometimes how the saddle is sitting on the horse can even make it so you can't sit properly.

Could be. I really don't know. I do know that DS hasn't ridden him as much as the smaller pony so it may be something he hasn't quite gotten yet. :idunno

Happy Summer!!!! I was awake at 6 but dozed until DS got up at 7:30. Not quite sleeping in but I would have been up at 5:15 if it were a work day. :D Two dogs went back to sleep and the other wandered reminding me his toe nails need clipping  So I got up, grabbed a cup of coffee and my netbook and sat on the deck swing in my bathrobe reading emails. It is cool, dry and sunny. I did have that guilty pang that I should be working in the garden or cleaning out the ducks' condo to move them out of the barn to make more room for the pullets and possible ducklings. But I fought it off and enjoyed the fresh air. Not even any mosquitoes!
I'm coughing less but it seems to get worse after I've been moving around a bit. I've been through this before. I get over the whateveritis but then everything in my chest is hyper sensitive and every little particle of dust, pollen, etc. sets off a coughing fit. Could go on for weeks. I've decided I'll give it today and if I have another bad afternoon I will start with the naturopath to see what she suggests. I kind of know the MD will give me an inhaler to calm things down. My energy level seems better already today. That could be a reduction in the stress level?
I had Miss Mary bunny out for a romp around the living room last night. She had a blast checking everything out and didn't nibble on a thing. Not that I'm going to leave her unsupervised. Nemo the cat came to visit and she was curious. She approached him and he ran off! Of course she's bigger than Martha so he didn't quite know what to make of her. He was afraid of our big Californian Ringo too. I can see that Mary's fur is already growing. very cool!
Well, time for a shower, some laundry and maybe making a batch of sorghum waffles for the freezer for DS's breakfast. There's lots of cleaning and organizing and purging to do around here. It's hard not to want it all done NOW so I can enjoy the rest of the summer but I will resist the urge to over do it.....

HAPPY SUMMER!!!

I say take the week off. You deserve it! Sure, you can do some nitpicky stuff, by why not give yourself a little down time then dive into the summer projects?

Thanks! Part of me says to take it easy this week, but then again with DH still working this week, maybe it would be better to get stuff done and kick back another week when he's home..... :hu At any rate I won't be knocking myself out with big projects!

LOL! Do you know, I still have nightmares about being trapped in school. Like I have my GED but they won't let me actually leave.

School was, hands down, by far, completely and entirely, the most traumatic part of my upbringing.

And if you knew how bad the other parts tended to be, that's saying a lot. I don't have nightmares about any OTHER part of my upbringing. I used to have PTSD and I'm officially past that with everything but school.

You teachers are brave folk. lol.
