My Dad has 16 baby Muscovies so far, and 4 other ducks sitting. :D Told hubby that we have to fix the chicken coop, aka - tear down the front part that's dangerous, so we can get to the coop and build them some fence, so the neighbor's dogs won't get them. He chases the cats, so I just imagine what that 90lb lab would think of fuzzy little ducks. :ep

Oo yeah. I've got the dogs out of there too. My Golden loves to chase chickens. He hasn't managed to catch one yet. But we're not giving him the chance so we can find out...

Still just the two, lovingly named by DS :he :he :he Moonstone and Petunia. I hope Petunia knows she's supposed to be a girl..... I went down an hour or so ago to freshen their water. Both little ones popped out and came to get a drink. They went right back under Edna and stayed there. When I came back with the camera they wouldn't come back out.
SO we went to Dover Saddlery in RI with some friends. I got DS 2 new pairs of riding pants for $15! And a pair of show gloves since he could try them on and I wasn't guessing on fit. Same with the pants. His instructor/farm owner was looking for a couple of things and we found one of them, some stirrup leathers, for $10. We came home and our friends took us out to lunch. Now we're getting ready for tomorrow's Scout campout. DH and I are off to his old school's graduation since a former student invited us. It will be a little weird. DS is staying at my parents' house again. We may go out to hear a band later but more likely we will go home and crash..... :barnie
It's cold and rainy again. We've got no less than 3 inches of muck in the chicken pen. It's nasty. But my garden is growing and I will be complaining about the heat before long....
Edited to remove stupid apostrophe that was put where it didn't belong....

Back from graduation. All of 27 seniors, from 3 towns!!! DH was greeted warmly by his former students and coworkers and completely and utterly snubbed and ignored by the administration. Can't see what their problem was. They made it clear they were phasing out his job and he took the hint and found another. He was almost hoping they'd question our being there so he could whip out his invitation... whatever!
So we are home and I'm in flannel jammies. C'mon summer! Where are ya???

Wow! Where did you find pants that cheap?
At Dover Saddlery's tent sale. We went to the one in RI. I guess each of their stores does it on a different weekend. So we pawed through big cardboard boxes of pants and found a bunch that were possibilities then had DS try them on. He's got one pair that will be great for lessons and another that will replace his show pants that are already getting to be too small. We got tan to go with his Ebay English riding coat (seen in pics a page or 2 back). The lesson ones are black with bright yellow piping around the ankles.
There was tons of tack stuff but obviously we don't need that. I forgot I did get a new hoof pick/brush for the goats because I lost mine (79 cents!) and a really soft least that will be great for the dogs. I have a really nice leather leash for Indy which usually works well because he doesn't pull on his leash (most of the time) but this one is really soft and cushy and it was cheap so I grabbed one. I can use it for the goats too I suppose.

There's one in Delaware. Wonder when they'll be having a sale. I'd kind of like to go to one.

I found out about it because I had ordered something and got a flyer and from "liking" them on Facebook. When I went to the store's website it wasn't even mentioned! A Google search would probably turn up something.
