Yeah, I meant to pick up some oranges today for us to snack on...someone got me started on citrus and there is no end in sight lol! They have a pretty good deal here on navels for 3.99 for a 8 pound bag. I missed it though Sale goes off tomorrow.

No kidding, wbf!
I did manage to convince the bf not to go to the family New year's eve shindig. And not to dinner on Saturday as well. That sort of irritated me anyway, and at last now that I'm sick we have a ligit excuse.
His parents gave us a gift card for an Italian place for Christmas. Then when we speed over this weekend she tells us that his cousin made reservations because they have everyone gift cards and we are expected to go to dinner with the group on Saturday. I was totally put off by this. I was really looking forward to a date night since we don't really have the money to do that whenever we want. But apparently we were given a conditional use gift. I'm just not interested in that. He isn't either so I'll just still be sick come Saturday. I just found that strange and odd gift giving.

Glad not crazy for feeling that way! It was just weird to me.
Relaxing at the ex's house for a bit before I head north to pick up my new to me breadmaker that does Jelly and jam too! I'm so excited! Just another freecycle score!
And then when I get home I'm getting chicken out of the freezer and then getting into bed again!

I would refuse a gift like that, and tell them why....but i have a big mouth sometimes. It'd be different if they just said they were going to take you out to eat as your gift, but to give the card and THEN put the control of use on it...nope, no thanks

Lol wbf, I have a big mouth too. I think I'm just "not going to be feeling well yet" on Saturday if you catch my drift.
Today was productive though tiring. Having to hoof the chicken waterers down to the skip sink in the garage to refill them because the hose is frozen is not fun. Especially when there are 3 if them filed with 4 gallons of water each at 8.whatever pounds per gallon and I'm sick. Its hard enough for me to lift then when I'm feeling Well.
Headed to my friends house to give her a lesson which went Well. She scolded me for giving her a lesson while sick, truth be told I didn't need the money so bad I wouldn't have.
Stopped at the creamery for ground beef and treated myself to a latte with cinnamon icecream and locally roasted coffee. Then it was on to my ex's to let the dogs out and eat lunch. He left the book for me that he got, it's the Ball book of comolete preserving or something like that but it's brand New! I'm so excited!
I really didn't want to get up at that point but I had to get the bread maker I scored on freecycle. Drive and picked that up and then headed home. I relaxed in bed for a while taking to my parents. Mom wasnt home when I called so I talked to dad until she for home and then talked to her for a long time. Finally she had to fox dinner and I had to let the dogs out again and give them dinner so I headed out.
I failed to get dinner ready so the bf is stopping on the way home and is thankfully on his way. I'm starving.
I'm positive that I won't see midnight and if I do I won't be happy about it lol so I'm light of that, happy New year!
