Oh, Deb, we got somewhere in between 4 & 6 inches more overnight. I took this photo in the morning. The bf had walked through there the day before but you can barely see his tracks. It was well over my knees all the way over to get to the buckets on the fence. It was a huge struggle! I'm sure we had over 20" total. I spent the day yesterday (after slogging through the snow and feeding my ponies) and went down to the other barn and helped clean the stalls. The horses had been in for 24 hrs so they basically had to be completely stripped. Its almost easier to strip than to pick them the only problem is that there is almost no sawdust left so we weren't really able to get them set back up as well as they should be. I was exhausted and came home, got the brisket in and then soaked in the tub which helped but I'm still stuff and sore today.

We've been lucky in that all we're getting right now is rain. I actually don't mind. At this point in time, I'd rather have the rain than the snow.

Hmm I didn't attach the phone did I... silly me. I do that all the time.
The snow was down a lot today. It's gotten crusty enough on top that you can almost walk on it without sinking. We cleared a bit with the bobcat so that I can at least get the Barn yard gate open. We tried to get the paddock gate open where the new horse will be going but it's buried too deep and opens inward. I'll give it a day or so and work on it again later and hopefully be able to get it open.
I'm still not doing all that well. Feeling pretty fragile right now. I've had ups and downs all weekend.
On top of that we are almost out of pellets and there are NO pellets to be found in this town. I would KILL for a real wood stove! Not to mention that the pellets are going to put a pretty big strain on the budget when we can finally find some. Things are beyond tight at the moment. It is really causing me a lot of anxiety.
So it goes.

Haha, FEM the worst part is I did it again! Lol I'm attaching it now so I don't forget..
Hmm it's sideways. Don't know how to fix that on my phone.
I don't know Deb. Someone in the emergency thread said you can burn bits of wood in a purely stove but I'm really not sure how you would do that as the fire box is really shallow. So when you opened the door things might fall out.

Decent day today. I finalized several of the documents for boarding. I'm sure I'll change them all again but at least I got them really well started. I also got much of the website started, so that was a good thing. Helped out in the barn for a little while But they really didn't need my help. Made the trip down more worth while though.
Stopped to pick up eggs and talked to S for a bit which was nice. He hopes to start planning by March 17. We'll have to see if that actually happens or not. I can't wait to get back in the farm.
I gotta restart this baby sweater for the fourth time. Only annoying thing is I forgot to check my guage before I ripped out this section. I really should have. Ahh well I guess I'll just check it after I start over. Again. Wheee... now if only I can stay motivated enough to finish two of them...

Yup another dusting. Nothing to really cause a bother though.
I'm really irritated. I stopped a glove getting into my truck this afternoon at work. I won't be back to the office until Friday so I have no real hope of getting it back I'm any usable condition. They were the gloves I was doing most of my work in lately too. I HATE losing things.
Decent day at work. I fudged for a little while But got some things done.
I managed to dig pour the gate to the paddock enough that there is room to get a horse in, hopefully it will melt more tomorrow and I can get it open wider. I don't like not being able to open gates easily, especially with a horse I don't know.
Keep your fingers crossed that all goes smoothly.
